No major surprises today at the Mopar Nats, except, of course, the DEATH VAN:
Okay, so nowhere on the van did I see that name, but it just fits. The workmanship, excellent; the taste, questionable.
I’m glad the Mopar Nationals folk have opened up their show field to AMC products. But it seems the AMC folk either have enough of their time invested in AMO stuff, or just never really got the message. The guy with this 1970 AMX, along with about half a dozen other AMCers, did.
Not only an HPP pickup, but also a CSS. Either these are coming out of the woodwork lately, or I’m just seeing more of them.
Tomorrow, I fly to a dried-up lakebed in Utah to watch a few cars follow a black line for seven miles. Let’s hope my hotel has Internet access.
