Steve Irwin wasn’t the only thing happening in Oz over the weekend. While vintage Trans Am racers made their way around the track at Lime Rock this past weekend (I didn’t go, but I know at least one of our editors did. Will try to get photos up here), vintage Australian muscle car racers did the same at Eastern Creek Raceway in Australia for an event called the Australian Muscle Car Masters.

The site itself has some pretty good photos of previous years’ events, plus a fella named Rick Haslewood took some photos of his own of this year’s event.
I’m thinking now that I’ve done Bonneville, that’s the next big automotive thing for me to see. Well, that or Bathurst.
